The Petrie railway station only 300m away is fully wheelchair accessible having installed elevators to all platforms. Many of our guests also use maxi taxis so most drivers are familiar with Backstop House. Two wheelchair parking bays are located directly in front of our respite center.
Many wheelchair friendly footpaths surround Backstop House. You can explore as far as you care to venture. We're conveniently located near many accessible shops and services such as Woolworth's, chemist, newsagent, post office, hotel, video store, and more.
